The Thailand Tiger Project is dedicated to the conservation of tigers and the natural landscapes that sustain their wild populations.

More specific project objectives include:

  • Providing timely and relevant information to managers and policy-makers to improve the effectiveness of tiger conservation efforts throughout Thailand.

  • Building the professional capacity of personnel both within and outside of the project to effectively conserve and monitor tiger populations and the habitats they depend on.

  • Contributing to our understanding of tiger ecology through scientific investigation and dissemination of results through a variety of media and peer-reviewed journals.
